Accounting clerk

The Accounting Clerk at Hearts on Fire will assist with the day to day operations of the Accounting Department, while working closely with the Production Team. The Accounting Clerk will review and process daily vendor invoices and production orders, to ensure that inventory costs are accurate prior to shipping to consumers.  This individual will also assist the Accounting Team in completing month end close activities and other ad-hoc financial reporting requirements.  

Review and process daily vendor invoices and production orders
Facilitate resolution of vendor invoice issues 
Review and report on daily cash transactions
Assist with Month End Close process 
Contribute to the annual financial statement audit and tax return preparation
Assist with review of employee travel expense reimbursements
Support the Finance department with ad-hoc reporting as necessary 


0-2 years’ accounting or finance experience 
Customer-service oriented attitude  
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to set goals and track progress towards completion
Strong verbal and written communications skills
A willingness to share information and collaborate with colleagues 
Strong MS Excel and MS system skills 
Self-motivation and drive
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
