The dynamic Merchandising Team at Hearts On Fire plays a central role in harmonizing and focusing the efforts of the product design and development cycle.  From Manufacturing to Finance to Marketing to Sales, the Merchandising Team is the key touch point for all departments in order to get product to market effectively. The Merchandising Team also keeps up with the market trends, has an intimate understanding of the Hearts On Fire product assortment, and is the expert on product sales performance. The Merchandise Specialist will organize and prepare merchandise, manage all visual merchandising elements as well as maintain a strong relationship with the vendor(s), communicate with a diverse group of teams to assess daily product needs, travel to stores to merchandise and train staff, and act as the competitive market expert.


·         Manage and coordinate all things related to display materials for both Hearts On Fire and Memoire businesses, including the logistics of daily wholesale and retail needs, creation of vendor POs, maintenance of inventory in house/vendor, and execution of store roll-outs for both new and existing accounts. Communicate directly with wholesale and retail channels regarding all implementation.

·         Replenish Hearts On Fire retail stores with product on a weekly basis based on sell thru information; Catalog an arsenal of up-to-date images for each door and case layout.

·         Travel to Hearts On Fire retail stores quarterly to refresh merchandising and train staff on new product launches.

·         Merchandise and train wholesale stores on all relevant and timely topics. Provide recap of store visits to sales, merchandising, and training teams.

·         Assist with product launch data by creating skus and cataloging all new items in Axapta; this includes the item names and attachment of all images systematically.

·         Support Trade Show and Event Preparation for three major annual launches including travel to shows.

·         Act as the internal product liaison for all departments. Partner with Marketing to coordinate product for PR events and implement a calendar with major milestones/timelines.

·         Create plan-o-grams based on the Merchandising Manager’s product selection and utilizing the case measurements to achieve overall desired aesthetic of store.

·         Canvas the market monthly to gather competitive analysis/market intel and trends and disseminate information on a quarterly basis.

·         Maintain the product wall/boards/grids by category and price point. Keep all Merchandising tools up-to-date with new and existing product. Edit according to annual discontinued items and update pricing as reflected in the system.

·         Organize product lines based on existing line model. Work in conjunction with the Line Coordinator to build and pull product. Monitor line inventory by maintaining the product assortment and managing flow of product in/out.

·         Present to the sales team on a weekly basis regarding all relevant merchandising information including (but not limited to) sales data, product showing and display updates.

·         Facilitate ad hoc daily tasks including time sensitive projects, inter-department requests, and overall team needs.

·         Work closely with the Ecommerce team on a monthly basis to make sure product image placement, proportion, and all other relevant data is accurate regarding the merchandising of the site. Align product based on a blend of best sellers, aesthetics, and market trends
