senior public relations & Events Specialist

The Senior Specialist for Public Relations and Events is responsible for supporting the strategic programs that build awareness of the Hearts On Fire brand through opportunities in public relations, events (consumer & tradeshow) as well as strategic partnerships. This role is responsible for proactively supporting all media and event relationships by driving executional tactics identified for the program, event, or activity. The ideal candidate is hungry for success and gets excited by securing coverage and producing high-quality consumer, media, or retailer facing events. The candidate has experience in luxury and jewelry and has a continuous pulse on fashion and the ever-changing world of media. Additionally, familiarity and experience with public relations and event best practices including wire services, media monitoring, and media databases is preferred. This person is imaginative, resourceful and stops at nothing to accomplish their goal while making the brand sparkle. 


• Collaborate with Director of PR and Brand Communications to keep Hearts On Fire top-of-mind by generating positive coverage throughout consumer, business, and event outreach 

• Closely team up with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on strategic goals and plans 

• Responsible for inbound and outbound product fulfillment as it relates to PR/Events programs 

• Documentation of key outreach/pickup and development of key decks and recap reports 

• Accountable for continuous updates/uploads to all relevant platforms including, internal company communication, and retailer intranet 

• Management of creative requests, PO’s, invoices, and key administrative tasks 


• 5+ years’ experience working with in-house or at an agency with a vivid creative, but analytical mindset 

• Ability to support multiple, complex projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with overarching company goals 

• Fierce determination to go for the “win” and proactively work towards the finish line 

• Skillset to consistently tighten and improve processes and procedures 

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to support multiple fast paced projects 

• Ability to pivot without frustration 

• Knowledge of key PR Tools and industry best practices 

• Maintained professionalism when interacting with media, vendors, talent 

• Skilled in developing and nurturing new relationships on an ongoing basis and understands the value of a relationship 

• Proven ability to develop detailed timelines and calendars to ensure all points of project are completed on time and efficiently 

• Collaborative spirit 

• Support in building compelling narratives, and tireless efforts in pitching various audiences 

• The determination to overcome obstacles and bring your ideas to fruition. Always be thinking “what’s next”, “what more can be done” “how can I amplify existing efforts”

• Ability to travel up to 30% for tradeshows and events.
